I purchased one at WalMart for about $70 about 4 years ago and it works great. I've made drapes for my windows. It does button holes and zigzag stitches. I belive it was a Brothers, I would have to look. Of course the machine I want costs around $5,000. It also does embroidery where you can download graphics and it creates the design for you, then all you have to do is thread the machine, push a button and stand back to watch the machine create your designe on fabric. None of the people I've called thus far are willing to make a pair of gloves for me. I don't think they're very time consuming. I guess they just don't like gloves. Someday I'll upgrade my machine.
