Bodysuit Help
Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009 by tcgI have no experience sewing bodysuits, leotards, or leggings. Bodysuits are tricky due to the stretchiness of the fabric. The best pattern to use is the Kwik-Sew 2108. Check your local stores and ebay because this one is hard to find. Kerry has a basic tutorial over at maskon.com. Another great place to learn about making bodysuits is Stretchy. You’ll find original patterns and lots of tips there. Before you get started, you’ll need a sewing machine that can do zig-zag stitches. It’s a must. Good luck. Remember, if you’re having trouble, dance supply stores carry a variety of bodysuits that may fit your needs.
